Our team is part of the Microsoft Engineering System group. We are building a modernized, highly scalable cloud solution to help the Microsoft division with a world class Work Management and Ownership systems that can scale to 10k engineers. The projects are consisted of Web Reporting development, Big Data, Web Services and VSTS extensions. We are a super agile team, we use Git, Azure, VSTS and other cutting edge technologies in our day to day job. We have a consistent channel to our customers using feedback loop. Our leadership have made creating the best engineering system in the world a top priority as we look to make engineering a part of the competitive edge in winning the marketplace.
As a member on the team you will participate in all stages of our engineering lifecycle learning and adjusting by exploiting data. We are passionate about having a culture of learning fast and constantly iterating towards success.
You will need the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, and sometimes ambiguous environment and to attack problems and make progress while the problem is still being defined. You will be expected to deliver maintainable software on schedule and with consistently high quality. Good communication, ability to work independently and in small teams, design and planning skills are necessary to scope and plan development work in order to meet business objectives. As a developer, you will be participating in all aspects of product feature development including planning, requirement definition, design, development, testing and release.
1+ year of proven focus on engineering excellence, including but not limited to best practices, design/code reviews, clear and maintainable code, and high quality code
Self-starter and likes to learn every day
Experience learning and implementing new technological challenges
Passionate about developers and their experience
Excellent technical design, problem solving, debugging and communication skills
Demonstrated experience in shipping high quality products and services
BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience
