Responsibilities

What you will do?

You’ll manage documentation projects for Microsoft AI and advanced analytics products on Microsoft Docs ( https://docs.microsoft.com) :

  • Develop, prioritize, and execute customer-focused, data-informed documentation plans.

  • Work with engineering, support, marketing, and customers to learn customer goals and needs.

  • Use data to report on your impact and prioritize your work. You’ll talk directly to customers!

  • Work with a variety of contributors to release high-quality documentation.

  • Plan and deliver strategic content, such as short videos and infographics.

  • Refine content through customer feedback, testing, and keeping current with tech.

Qualifications

Primary qualifications

  • You have strong written and verbal English communication skills.

  • You are a self-starter who works well independently and with others.

  • You fear no tech tools and can get up to speed quickly on Git and markdown.

  • You know how to create a successful web content strategy and use SEO practices.

  • You have 4 years of proven project management, organization, and planning skills.

  • You have 2 years of experience with a technical audience (developer, IT, DevOps).

  • You have experience with data preparation, data mining, and/or analytics.

  • You have experience with developer languages and open-source technology.

Helpful qualifications

  • Degree in Communications, Computer Science, Engineering, or Data Science, or equivalent experience.

  • Experience with SQL, Java, Scala, Python, or R.
